Lois is a Partner at MayerMeinberg where she specializes in all aspects of accounting, including audit, tax, consulting and financial reporting.  Her focus is in real estate, specifically rental real estate and Common Interest Realty Associations (CIRAs), which includes cooperatives, condominiums, homeowners associations and timeshares.  In addition, to her particular expertise in real estate, she serves clients in such areas as e-commerce/internet, leisure and recreation, bankruptcy, insolvency and reorganization, hotel and lodging, and construction. Lois and the team at MayerMeinberg have also developed a niche performing 401(k) audits for their clients as well as assisting clients in controllership functions.

A Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) for close to a decade, Lois earned her designation from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, a global, 27,000-member professional organization dedicated to fighting fraud and white-collar crime.  The CFE requires completion of a rigorous qualification process and is awarded only to those that “demonstrate superior skills regarding fraud prevention and detection.”

Lois started her career in 1987 and has been with the company since 1989, having been promoted to partner in 2001.

A graduate of Long Island University, C.W. Post, with a B.S. in Accounting, Lois is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) where she serves on the Nassau Chapter’s Accounting and Auditing Committee.
