Alan Fishman is a Partner at MayerMeinberg where he is responsible for client services and practice development. His 20 years of accounting experience encompasses a wide variety of industries with a focus in medical services, food services and the entrepreneurial small business arena. His accounting expertise in medical and professional practices has led to many financial success stories for his clients.
In addition to his particular expertise in the Medical Services Industry, Alan also serves clients in Real Estate, Manufacturing, Entertainment, Distribution, Architectural, Engineering, Music Production, Music Venues, Promotion and Restaurants.
Alan was nominated for the 2011 Top NYC Accounting and Advisor Award by NY Enterprise magazine in recognition of his advisory skills. Alan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
Lending his skills to the community, Alan is President of the New York Metro Chapter of Medical Group Managers Association (MGMA), a Certified Member of the College of Medical Practice Executives, and a committee member of the Small Business Outreach Program sponsored by the NYSSCPA and SCORE.
A Volunteer Fire Fighter from 2001 to 2005, Alan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton Florida. Fishman currently resides in Seaford, New York with his wife and three children.
